ABOUT US

Who We Are

The goal of the youth-led Rayanu Di'Vine Anti-Bullying Ambassador Program is to encourage school-age children to be kind, inclusive, and resilient. Through community participation, educational workshops, and peer advocacy, the program equips young ambassadors to speak out against bullying in their communities and schools.

Rayanu Di'Vine Anti-Bullying Ambassador Program

The Rayanu Di'Vine Anti-Bullying Ambassador Program is an initiative that seeks to empower young people as they work with us to create more kind, inclusive, and resilient schools. Our ambassadors are youth who stand up against bullying in their schools. They lead the charge in creating a culture of respect and understanding among peers. Young bullying ambassadors are a generation of compassionate peer leaders who are powerful enough to challenge bullying behaviors.Community involvement is fundamental to our program. Engaging young people in significant and direct ways is the first step in the work that we do. We take an "each one, teach one" approach. Our program participants have the opportunity to learn about the dynamics of bullying in a unique way—through a series of interactive workshops. These are not your average sit-and-get sessions. These are (1) fun, (2) powerful, and (3) in some cases, almost life-changing. Quite literally, in some cases. And quite a few cases because we've seen it happen.Besides educational workshops, our program spotlights the might of peer advocacy. We train young ambassadors to be potent voices in their communities, urging their contemporaries to not only resist the temptation to bully but also to proffer aid to those who need it. In a sense, we are asking the ambassadors to create a ripple effect that, we hope, will extend beyond the classroom and into the wider community. In the end, the Rayanu Di'Vine Anti-Bullying Ambassador Program is about more than just tackling bullying; it is about constructing a much more favorable future where every child feels appreciated, embraced, and given the tools to truly make a difference. Work with us to engender a culture of kindhearted resilience that encompasses all young people!

SPEAK OUT (SO) is dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered. It is our belief that a safe environment is essential for both personal growth and community well-being. We have set out to realize that belief—through innovative coaching and instructional programs, of our own design and ini tial construction—and to make it true for others. We are practicing what we preach and walk the talk. . . . We see this as a necessity, both for us and for you. We envision providing you with the safe conditions in which you can grow as a person and as a positive member of a well-functioning community. We are on a mission not to create more awareness about bullying but to completely rethink the concept. We see bullying not as mere behavior but as a complex social issue that can't be wished away and requires a far-reaching comprehensive approach if it's going to be effectively dealt with. We use dialogues where possible and educational opportunities where necessary to help us get the message across that empathy in the form of understanding the harmful impact of socially accepted norms is key to making bullying in its myriad forms less prevalent. At SPEAK OUT, we know that change begins with us. We design our programs to empower people to take a stand against bullying, to be resilient, and to be confident. We offer a platform from which people can be heard, encouraging participants to share their stories and to listen to one another. Together, we can create a culture of kindness and support, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and inclusive space.Participate with us in our commitment to turn lives and communities around. Together, we can achieve a permanent effect in the battle against bullying and push toward an even brighter, more inclusive future for everyone.

TIME TO TAKE CHARGE

OUR CORE VALUES

Faith – We believe faith has the ability to motivate and guide our behavior.Empowerment – We build confidence in youth to take charge of their lives.Community – We provide safe spaces for belonging and mutual support.Integrity – Do the right thing, even when no one’s looking.Compassion – Show empathy, kindness, and understanding to all.

FaithFaith is a powerful catalyst for personal growth and positive action. We understand that faith—spiritual, personal, or communal—has the rare ability to inspire individuals to rise above challenges and pursue their aspirations. It acts as a guiding light for many, motivating them to act with purpose and resilience. The culture of faith we foster encourages individuals to trust in their potential and the possibilities that lie ahead, ultimately leading to experiences that transform them and to a connection with themselves and others that runs deeper than before.EmpowermentThe cornerstone of our approach to youth development is empowerment. It is the basis of everything we do. Building confidence in young individuals is our primary objective. We want it to be clear that we work on equipping the youth with the skills and resources necessary for them to take charge and run their own lives. The programs and initiatives we offer are designed to help them figure out what they really want to do with their lives, give them the tools to make those decisions, and help them along the path they choose. There are elements of self-worth and self-agency all over this stuff.CommunityUnderstanding the need for community as a means of fostering belonging and support, we set our sights on creating safe, welcoming spaces for all individuals to connect and share their lived experiences. That, really, is the heart of our organization. More than anything, we aspire for our members and their respective communities to feel uplifted and understood—an atmosphere of seeking first to understand and then to be understood. Our communities are spaces in which support is offered unreservedly; if it isn’t shared among community members, then what’s the community for?IntegrityIntegrity is a basic principle that channels our actions and decisions. We channel it, instead of just saying we believe in it, because saying isn't the same as doing. We do things right. We even do things right when we could easily do otherwise and no one would know. We are nothing if we are not honest. Doing right is the basic way we behave in life and business. It is the first way of making trust work. If there is no basic trust, there is no way of making trust work.CompassionEmpathy, kindness, and understanding form the core of our interactions with others. We interact with everyone we encounter in a way that demonstrates these qualities. Why? Because we know that being on the receiving end of compassion makes a world of difference. Compassion is a powerful catalyst that enables us to cut to the chase—to truly understand the essence of someone else’s experience. It allows us to reach a level of intimacy that is so often lacking in human interactions. And for those who are served by our work, it allows us to scrape off a few of the layers that shroud the kind of justice that is so often denied.
